Behind PredictMarket is a team with over 15 years of software engineering experience specifically in sports betting and prediction systems. We have built, scaled, and maintained prediction platforms across multiple generations — from early rule-based systems to modern AI-augmented trading engines.
Over that time we identified a consistent gap in the market: prediction platforms were either unsophisticated picking tools, or regulated gambling exchanges inaccessible to most users. Neither felt right for the modern sports fan who wants to participate intelligently, compete socially, and engage with football through skill rather than luck.
We set out to build something different — a football prediction marketplace where users trade outcome positions the way traders operate in financial markets: buying positions they believe in, selling positions they hold, using data and AI tools to inform decisions, and competing on transparent leaderboards.
